Overview
The founding of the Department of Computer Science and Technology can be traced to over half a century ago in 1958. Since its establishment, it has become a world renowned department with strong scientific research and education accomplishments in computer disciplines. It is comprised of the institutes of high-performance computing research, computer networking, computer software, human-computer interaction and media integration, and the state key laboratory of intelligent technology and systems. The department has established joint labs with IBM, Intel, Microsoft and other major corporations.

(M)–Master‘s Programs (D)- Doctoral Programs
Department of Computer Science& Technology accepts bachelor degree holders to pursue doctoral degrees. Bachelor degree holders for doctoral program application must meet all the uniform requirements of the university, as well as the requirements of this school/department listed below:
1. The Minimum Requirement of Undergraduate GPA or Average scores:3.5/4 or B+ or 85/100;
2. Chinese Proficiency Requirement: HSK band 4 with a score of 195 or above; English program applicants can be exempt from the HSK certificates;
3.Non-native English speakers must meet the minimum English proficiency requirement:TOEFL:80/IELTS:6.5.
